Kata bench was inspired by Japanese culture. Taking in the whole structure from frontal view, the outline speaks of ancient temple gates. The translucent plastic knot finishing detail is reminiscent of Japanese knot techniques as seen in many items from the culture from swords handles to gift wrapping.
