Sukpha

Black White

Sukpha was inspired by the simple structure of low stools often seen in Asian cultures. In Thailand, they can be found everywhere with various ways of simple construction and materials that meet the user’s needs.

Thais traditionally hand wash their clothes sitting on a low stool with water in a large bucket. The name “Sukpha” meaning “to wash clothes” pays an homage to the popular low stool.

Sukpha celebrates and reimagine the spirit of simple and practical vernacular design through color and pattern play - creating a stool for everyday’s situation.
